Looking for a fun
and inexpensive beach wedding near Tampa, FL? Want to get married on an
island beach with a view of the ocean on all four sides? Look no further than Windsong!
Pristine white beaches and beautiful crystal clear water, our islands are
fabulous! Our beach wedding rates are very affordable.
Treat yourself to a fun and cheap beach wedding on one of our islands. It's
a very inexpensive wedding,
lots of fun, and very Florida! It's the ultimate do-it-yourself beach
wedding with loads of options!
How it works
Drive your wedding party out to the island in
one of our rental pontoon boats. You
can bring your own chairs, coolers, food and drinks and grill out, or you
can have us cater your party. It's
up to you! Get married, party, swim, snorkel, go shelling, go crazy!! NO
boating experience needed, we welcome novices.
Our wedding officiate will meet you
on the island at your leisure, perform the ceremony and leave you to have
the best reception ever right on the beach. Cater it yourself, or have us
cook for you.
If you don't have the equipment, no problem. We rent grills, chairs,
umbrellas, coolers, you name it, we've got it. For a more luxurious
wedding, let us cater for you, we have 4 different and
affordable menus.

WHAT ABOUT DRINKING ALCOHOL ON THE ISLAND? |
Drinking
alcohol on
the island is permitted, in fact it is even encouraged!
You may bring
your own drinks of any type. We rent coolers for $5 each which includes
15 lbs of ice.
REMEMBER:
Whoever is driving the boat MUST by Florida State Law have a blood
alcohol level of 0.08 or less. Driving a boat under the influence
carries the same penalty as driving a car. You get a DUI and they take
your drivers' license away!
If this is a
problem, you can
hire a captain to drive the boat for you, or you can camp out for
the night and drive home sober in the morning!

HOW MUCH IS THIS GOING TO COST? |
|
The cost of the
boat
Depending on the size
of your party, rentals on our boats start at $125 for a half day, $200 for a
full day and $200 for an overnight camping honeymoon party. Bigger wedding
parties might need more than one boat.
Our smallest boat can
take 8 adults, our largest boat can take 15 adults, depending on weight of
people and equipment.

WEDDING OFFICIATE FEES |
|
Wedding Officiate -
$250
The only cost over and
above the price of the rental boat is for the legalization of the marriage.
This price of $250 includes the officiate's own transport out to the island,
the ceremony, and the legalization of your wedding.
All you need is a
wedding license which you can get from any Florida County office (there is
one only 5 miles from our marina) and picture ID.
Florida residents have
a 3 day waiting period.
Non-Florida residents
there is no waiting period.

CAPTAIN FEES |
|
If you would like to
hire a captain to drive the boat for you, we recommend
Captain's Yacht Services. All of their captains are United States Coast
Guard licensed and have been approved by Windsong.
Captains Rates are
$20 / hour plus gratuity |

complete with all the fixin's. Onions, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles,
sweet relish, ketchup and mustard. Choose TWO salads to
accompany: potato, pasta, coleslaw, baked beans or Caesar salad.

marinated chicken thighs & drumsticks, marinated pork country style ribs cooked on a

Choose any TWO of the following: Steak cooked to order (mooing, rare, medium
rare, medium, medium well or burnt offering), marinated chicken

spices and butter - all smoked on a BBQ right
