Camping on an Island

Want to go camping on a beautiful island? Rent one of our Pontoon boats and camp out on the beach on Anclote Island North Beach. Bonfires permitted on the beach. Swim, tan and relax during the day and watch the sunset and moonrise. 

All boats must be anchored 1/2 hour before sunset and remain anchored until 1/2 hour after sunrise. Operation of boat prohibited from dusk to dawn. Boats may not be beached, must remain floating with two anchors at all times.

We offer three different 24 hour packages:
24 hours - 1 day and 1 night: 8.00AM to 8.00AM NEXT DAY, 1.00PM to 1.00PM NEXT DAY or 5.00PM to 5.00PM NEXT DAY

NOTE: WE DO NOT SUPPLY OR RENT OUT CAMPING GEAR SUCH AS TENTS, GRILLS OR CANOPIES.
People capacities listed below have been reduced in order to compensate for additional equipment used when camping
Please Note: Due to US Coast Guard Law and State Park Regulations, simply "dropping" people off at the island and picking them up later is strictly prohibited by law.

Camping Rules
Camping on the sandbar is no longer possible due to erosion as the entire sandbar goes under water at high tide. The only allowed camping area is on the North Beach of Anclote Island. NO PETS ALLOWED.

The campground has a composting toilet, but that’s about it. There is no water, no grills and no waste receptacles. Bring everything you need with you and take everything back to the mainland. Raccoons do inhabit the island, and they have very little to drink, so take the necessary precautions to protect your water and food supplies from curious (and hungry) critters. They know how to open coolers!

There are no grills, but campfires are allowed on the beach. Cutting live limbs from trees or brush is not permitted. There is almost no driftwood to use, so bring your own firewood. Rangers request that you build your fire below the high tide line.

Camping is free but you must register with the Park Ranger 727-638-4447. BRING INSECT REPELLENT! Mosquitos and No-see-ums abound!

Our 18/20 foot "Standard" pontoon boats are entry level affordable rental boats. No stereo or electronics.
